Ordering Soil Samples in Agvance

Soil sampling season is here, and with Agvance, setting up and managing samples has never been easier. The first step in any soil sampling job is to create your work order. Walk with us as we create that order before it reaches an agronomist.

1. Sampling Setup

In Admin, you can set up a work order service specifically for soil sampling. If you haven’t done this before, here is a handy guide available to walk you through that setup process.

2. Creating the Order

With permissions in place, jump into Customer, locate the customer requesting samples, and select the fields they want evaluated. With the fields selected, start an order, which brings up the work order form in Agvance Order. There, select your soil sampling service, complete the form, and submit it for dispatch and collection.

Initiating work orders in Customer minimizes the margin for error and links the correct identification details to the work order form from the start.
